A Step-by-Step Guide to Repairing Muffled AirPods

Apple’s AirPods are among the most popular and pricey earphones on the market. They provide superb sound quality and a long battery life, as well as Active Noise Cancellation for the Pro model. AirPods, regardless of model, are not without flaws.

After a few years of use, AirPod users regularly remark that the sound and music have gotten muffled. Don’t be concerned if you’re facing this problem. There could be a straightforward answer. Airpods’ sound can get muted for a variety of causes.

The most prevalent cause of muffled AirPods is filthy speaker grilles. Apple’s wireless earbuds are designed to be worn inside the ear canal, where earwax and other debris can build up over time.

Why are my AirPods muffled?

Apple AirPods are in-ear headphones that can develop earwax and literally block the music from your earbud speakers over time. If you’re having trouble hearing music from your AirPods, your speaker grilles may need to be cleaned. Here’s how to go about it:

How to Care for AirPods

Cotton swabs, toothpicks, rubbing alcohol, and a microfiber cloth or an AirPods Cleaner Kit are required to clean your AirPods and AirPods Pro.

  • Dab some rubbing alcohol on the cotton swab’s tip.
  • Remove the silicone ear tips from the AirPods Pro and rinse them with water.
  • Gently clean the speaker meshes with the cotton swab.
  • The rubbing alcohol will aid in the removal of earwax and debris buildup.
  • Using a toothpick, carefully remove debris from the meshes.
  • Do not use the toothpick to remove debris that extends beyond the speaker mesh.
  • Dampen a microfiber cloth with rubbinhttps://www.apple.com/airpods/g alcohol.
  • Using the microfiber cloth, clean your AirPods.
  • Allow your AirPods to dry before reinstalling them in the charging case.

How to Reset Apple AirPods

If the muffled sound persists after cleaning your AirPods, they may need to be reset. The problem could be caused by the way your AirPods connect to your iPhone, iPad, or other Apple device. Resetting them will reestablish the connection and, hopefully, resolve the muted sound problem. Resetting AirPods is a simple process that only involves reconnecting the earbuds to your Apple smartphone once completed.

  • Place the AirPods in their case and snap the cover shut.
  • Remove the lid after 30 seconds.
  • On your iPhone or other Apple device, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  • Tap the More Info button next to your AirPods.
  • Confirm by tapping Forget This Device.
  • Press and hold the Setup Button on the back of the case for around 15 seconds until the light flashes amber, then white.
  • Place your AirPods near your iPhone and follow the on-screen instructions to rejoin them.

How to Deactivate Dolby Atmos on Apple Music

If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can listen to certain songs in Dolby Atmos spatial audio. However, not all devices are compatible with Dolby Atmos. Listening to music in Dolby Atmos with first or second-generation AirPods may result in muted audio.

  1. Install the most recent version of iOS or iPadOS on your Apple device.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Select the Music icon.
  4. Select Dolby Atmos from the Audio menu.
  5. Select Automatic, Always On, or disable Dolby Atmos.
  6. If you select Automatic, compatible songs will play in Dolby Atmos when you listen with AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, or AirPods (3rd generation).

Why are my AirPods muffled on Mac?

AirPods are simple to pair with a Mac, although they may sound muffled in some scenarios. This is a regular issue for AirPod owners who also possess a Mac. Let’s look at why AirPods may sound muffled on Mac and how to fix the problem.

AirPods must be installed on your Mac before we begin. Before pairing, make sure the AirPods are within the case and have at least one-third charge. The AirPods must be turned on and linked to the case. They will not connect if the battery is low. If your AirPods are paired but the sound is muted, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On your Mac, go to the Apple menu and then System Preferences.
  2. Select the Sound icon, then Input.
  3. The options that appear are governed by the model of your Mac and the audio devices that are connected to it.
  4. In the list of sound input devices, change the sound input from Airpods to Internal Microphone.
  5. Display Audio will be listed if your Mac display has an embedded microphone.

Why are my AirPods muffled on my PC?

When you insert AirPods into your iPhone, they sound great, but when you plug them into your PC, the sound quality is dreadful! AirPods are compatible with PCs, however they may sound muffled if your sound device settings aren’t properly setup. You can make AirPods work properly with a PC with a simple fix.

There isn’t enough Bluetooth bandwidth on a Windows PC to have high-quality sound in both the speakers and the microphone at the same time. When you connect AirPods to Windows, Windows generates two new devices. A headset with telephone quality sound and a pair of headphones with 44100 Hz (CD quality) sound. Do the following to prevent your AirPods from switching to Headset mode when you attach them:

  1. Plug your AirPods into your Windows PC.
  2. Navigate to the Control Panel.
  3. Select View Devices and Sound from the Hardware and Sound menu.
  4. Click the AirPods icon twice.
  5. Go to the Services tab.
  6. Uncheck the box next to Handsfree Telephony and then click the Apply button.

This option disables the use of your AirPods as a headset. When you listen to music on your Windows PC with your AirPods, the sound will now be 44100 Hz (CD quality).

Why does one AirPod have a louder sound than the other?

Another common criticism leveled at AirPods is that one wireless earpiece is louder than the other. People who have this issue frequently complain about not being able to hear music or podcasts at maximum power, although they can clearly hear sounds played by Siri.

This is less common with Apple’s corded EarPods, but it is more common with wireless headphones. Fortunately, there is a solution to the problem. Check the settings on your iPhone to see if one of your AirPods isn’t working properly.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Sounds & Haptics to access the choices.
  2. Select Headphone Safety.
  3. Move the slider next to Reduce Loud Sounds.

Examine whether one of your AirPods is currently playing at full volume. If the volume on one side is still low, you may need to alter the audio balance on your iPhone.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Accessibility.
  3. Select Audio/Visual.
  4. Move the slider to the center to restore normal audio balance.

Another option for dealing with the low-volume AirPod issue is to use an app called Bluetooth Volume Booster. The program increases the volume on both sides of your headphones, allowing you to listen to music at maximum volume.

How to Increase the Volume of AirPods

It’s not fun to listen to music with your AirPods when you can’t hear it very clearly. Fortunately, there is something that may solve the situation. First and foremost, ensure that the volume on your device is not too low. If it is, make the necessary changes first.

Calibrate your AirPods with your iPhone.

Your AirPods and iPhone may need to be adjusted because the two devices may perceive “full loudness” differently. As a result, your AirPods may not be utilising the full range of sounds available. That may not appear to be a simple task, but it is.

  1. Insert your AirPods into your ears and begin listening to music.
  2. Using the iPhone’s volume controls, turn the volume all the way down. At this moment, there should be no sound emanating from your AirPods.
  3. To reach the Control Panel, scroll down from the top-right corner of your iPhone and disable Bluetooth. Wear your AirPods.
  4. Restart listening to music through your iPhone’s built-in speakers. Using the volume controls on your iPhone, turn the volume all the way down.
  5. Reconnect your AirPods by following the on-screen prompts. To reactivate Bluetooth, open the Control Panel and select Bluetooth. You might also need to launch the Settings app, navigate to Bluetooth, and then pick AirPods.
  6. Adjust the volume to resume playing music.

How to Fix Monitor Ghosting

Display ghosting is a typical issue that can occur on any monitor. You may encounter this problem. It is likely that you will run into this problem if you are playing a first-person shooter or an action game, and it has the potential to completely destroy your enjoyment of the game. It is also possible for this to happen when you are modifying videos or working on jobs that require you to display scenes with a lot of movement.
The good news is that it is simple to determine whether or not your display is affected by this problem. In addition, there are several proven solutions that are effective. In this piece, we will discuss the phenomenon known as “monitor ghosting,” as well as its causes and, most significantly, solutions. Continue reading for further details…

What is monitor ghosting?

Monitor ghosting or screen ghosting, as the name indicates, is a monitor/display issue. It has little to do with your system. Monitor ghosting usually occurs when there are multiple images moving fast on your screen, or when you’re moving your mouse quickly. If your monitor is ghosting on your game, you’ll likely notice:
Blurry trails following moving objects
Previous image frame remains on your screen for a few seconds when you’ve moved to the next image frame
Current image is blurry
Discolored images
You may now wonder, why is your monitor ghosting? Ghosting is most frequently seen in LCD monitors, but for any type of monitor, the two main factors remain the same: refresh rate and response time.
Simply put, screen refresh rate refers to how often your screen displays a new image. For example, a 60Hz refresh rate means that the monitor refreshes itself 60 times per second.
Response time, on the other hand, is the time it takes for a pixel to shift between colors. The more responsive your monitor is, the shorter the response time it’ll have.
If your monitor has a low refresh rate and a high response time, you’ll likely experience the screen ghosting issue.

How do I fix the ghosting on my monitor?

To test if your monitor has the ghosting issue, you can find several tests online. The most popular tool is UFO Test. You’ll get a green signal saying READY if your monitor doesn’t have a ghosting issue. Otherwise, you may get an orange signal suggesting a specific problem with your monitor.
If you’ve identified the issue, check out the fixes below. You don’t have to try them all, just work your way down until you find the one that does the trick!
1: Check your monitor cable
2: Check other devices connected to your PC
3: Adjust your monitor’s display settings
4: Update your graphics driver
5: Check your video port

Fix 1: Check your monitor cable

First, you want to make sure that your monitor cable is firmly plugged in. Try unplugging then replugging in the cable and test if the issue persists.
You may also want to check if your monitor cable is intact. A damaged monitor cable could result in monitor ghosting, in which case you should change your monitor cable and test if the problem persists.
If your monitor cable is functional, move on to the next solution.

Fix 2: Check other devices connected to your PC

Sometimes other devices connected to your PC, such as your keyboard or speaker could interfere with your monitor’s function. It could be an issue of proximity, meaning that you just need to keep your monitor far from those devices.
Or, you could disconnect those devices one at a time and test if your screen still ghosts. Make sure to check the wireless devices as well. If one of your devices seems to cause the ghosting issue, try not to use it with your monitor at the same time.
If this fix doesn’t help, try the next solution.

Fix 3: Adjust your monitor’s display settings

As we mentioned above, refresh rate and response time are the main factors that are responsible for the ghosting issue. You can adjust your monitor’s settings to achieve a higher refresh rate and a lower response time which helps prevent your screen from ghosting.
1: Adjust the response time
2: Adjust the refresh rate
3: Additional tweaks (Optional)
It’s important to not overclock your display settings in case something goes wrong. For example, you may get the inverse ghosting effect if you turn the overdrive option to max. Make sure to adjust little by little and find the spot that would allow your monitor to function normally and stably.

Adjust the response time

Monitor manufacturers have made this easy – you’re able to adjust the response time via the OSD (On Screen Display) menu:
Press the menu button on the front or the side of your monitor.
Navigate to the settings for the response time, and adjust for a lower response time. Different brands use different terminology:

Asus & HP: adjust the OverDrive function to medium or low, or completely turn it off.

Asus: enable the TraceFree function.

BenQ: enable Advanced Motion Acceleration (AMA).

DELL: adjust the Response Time setting. Turn it to fast or super-fast.

LG & Samsung: adjust Response Time.

Other brands: You could look for Response Time, OverDrive, Response Time Compensation, Motion Acceleration, Response Time Acceleration, etc.
Adjust the refresh rate
If your monitor supports variable refresh rates, you can set it to a higher value to tackle the monitor ghosting problem. To view the refresh rate of your monitor and make adjustments if possible:
On Windows 10:
In the search bar next to the Start button, type advanced display then click View advanced display info.

You’ll see your monitor’s refresh rate here. If it’s adjustable, you can change it to a higher value via the drop-down menu option.

On Windows 7/8:
Right-click an empty area on your desktop, then click Screen resolution.

Click Advanced settings.

Under the Monitor tab, you can view the refresh rate of your monitor. If your monitor supports variable refresh rates, you can set it to a higher value via the drop down-menu option.

Additional tweaks (Optional)
In addition to response time and refresh rate, you could experiment with other display settings to see if it helps solve the monitor ghosting issue. Make sure to test your monitor’s functionality while adjusting. To make additional tweaks, look for these settings:
Perfect clear
Motion smoothing
Dynamic contrast
Noise reduction

Fix 4: Update your graphics driver

Although we explained earlier that screen ghosting is primarily an issue of the monitor, not of GPU, you could still try updating your graphics driver. When you can’t identify what’s causing your monitor to ghost, it’s a good idea to do so since it generally fixes and prevents many display issues, which may include monitor ghosting in your case.
One way to keep your video card driver up-to-date is to manually update it via Device Manager. If Windows suggests your driver is up-to-date, you can still check if there’s a newer version and update it in Device Manager. Go to the manufacturer’s website, and search for the latest correct driver. Be sure to only choose a driver that is compatible with your Windows version.
NVIDIA
INTEL
AMD
Asus
Automatic driver update – If you don’t have the time, patience, or computer skills to update your driver manually, you can, instead, do it automatically with Driver Easy. Driver Easy will automatically recognize your system and find the correct driver for your exact video card and your Windows version, then it will download and install them correctly:
Download and install Driver Easy.
Run Driver Easy and click the Scan Now button. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers.
Click the Update button next to the flagged graphics card driver to automatically download the correct version of the driver, then you can manually install it (you can do this with the FREE version).

Or click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out of date on your system. (This requires the Pro version which comes with full support and a 30-day money-back guarantee. You’ll be prompted to upgrade when you click Update All.)

The Pro version of Driver Easy comes with full technical support.
If you need assistance, please contact Driver Easy’s support team at support@drivereasy.com.
Restart your PC for the new driver to take effect. Check if the monitor ghosting issue has gone. If this doesn’t work in your case, try the last solution.
Fix 5: Check your video port
If the video port of your monitor is faulty, it could probably cause you screen to ghost. We recommend taking your monitor to a local repair store since it’s very difficult to identify the problematic component and replace it. If your monitor is still under warranty, you may also contact the manufacturer for support.

How to Play Music From Phone to Car Without Aux or Bluetooth

Music is now an important part of every car owner’s life.

Having the same tape or CD playlist on a road trip could be very boring. Because of this, most people in cars today use their phones to play music.

No matter how old or new your car is, you should be able to play music from it while driving.

Using auxiliary cords, Bluetooth, and ports are the most common ways to do this, but they are not the only ways.

Ways to connect your phone to the stereo in your car

There are several ways to connect an Android or IOS phone to a car.

Among them are:

  • FM transmitter.
  • Hands-free Bluetooth phone app.
  • USB stereo jack.
  • Cassette tape adaptor.
  • Apple Car Play and Google Auto.
  • 30 pin adapter.

With the help of the above list, you can connect your phone to the radio and car speakers in your car without having to buy a new stereo or speaker.

In this article, we’ll mostly talk about ways to connect your phone to the speakers in your car other than using aux or Bluetooth.

So, besides aux and Bluetooth, what else can you use to play music from your phone on your car stereo?

There are ways to play music from a phone in a car without using Aux or Bluetooth.

1.FM transmitter

Many new cars have an FM radio and a place to light up a cigarette.

This is one choice that drivers have.

Compared to other ways, an FM transmitter is also inexpensive and easy to set up. Using an FM transmitter makes this possible. The best FM transmitter is the Handsfree Call Car Charger, Wireless Bluetooth FM Transmitter Radio Receiver, which is easy to find on Amazon.

How to link:

  • Connecting the transmitter to the cigarette lighter port gives the transmitter a way to get power.
  • Tune the stereo in and choose the FM mode.
  • Choose an FM radio frequency that is not used by radio stations in your area, and then match it with your FM transmitter.
  • Find Bluetooth on your phone and connect your phone to the transmitter.
  • Now that you’re done, you can play your music.

When using an FM transmitter, the quality of the sound depends a lot on how good the adapter is, since interference usually affects it.

Also, the number of FM stations in your area and the model of your phone will affect the sound quality.

2.Cassette tape Adapter

You can also use a cassette tape adapter to connect your phone to your car’s stereo if it has a cassette tape player.

How to link:

  • Connect the 3.55mm audio cable that came with the cassette tape adapter to the headphone jack on the phone.
  • Then, put the adapter into the slot for the cassette.
  • Find the “tape” mode on the audio system’s menu and press “play.”
  • The music will start to play, and you can change the volume to suit your taste.

This method works well if you can’t use a cigarette lighter, if the power port doesn’t work, or if the signal from the FM transmitter is weak.

3.Put a program on your phone

Old car models have Bluetooth for hands-free calls, but you can’t play music with them.

To fix this, you can use an app that routes sounds so that the hands-free Bluetooth thinks you are making a call.

What to do:

  • You can make a call without using your hands if you connect your phone to the car. Call to make sure that the call got through.
  • Next, download and install an app like the Mono Bluetooth Router on your phone that lets you send sounds to different places. This lets you use the hands-free calling system to change the music.
  • Open the app you want to play music from in the sound routing app.

This is a cheap method that doesn’t require an FM Bluetooth Adapter.

Also, the sound quality will be mono, which means there is only one signal channel, and not stereo. So, this method can be used with cars made between 2000 and 2013.

4.Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

At the moment, many car models come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps.

With these two apps, drivers can link their phones to the dashboard of their cars. You can use this method to play music from your phone screen, look at navigation maps, and even send messages.

On top of that, you can also use Siri and Google Assistant to add your voice to your car’s audio system.

If your car doesn’t let you do this, you can still use Android Auto by connecting it to your phone with a USB cable. At the moment, Apple phones can’t do this.

5.USB Input

Most modern cars have a USB port, which can be used to connect to the Internet or charge a device.

For this method, all you need is a USB cable that works and is easy to get to.

Most smartphones come with a USB cable, but you might want to keep an extra one in your car so you don’t forget to bring it with you on your road trip. Also, it’s important to remember that the USB input depends on the phone you have.

You can get a USB-C cable or a micro-USB cable for an Android phone, and an Apple Lightning Cable for an iPhone.

Instructions:

  • Find the USB port on the stereo in your car. Depending on the type of car you have, the port could be in the front of the audio system head unit, the dashboard, the center console, the glove box, or the center armrest.
  • Connect your phone to one end of the USB cable and the other end to the port.
  • When your phone makes the connection, you’ll have to do the rest of the steps to let the sound system access the music on your phone.
  • Put the stereo in the car into USB mode. In some cars, it will be done automatically, but sometimes you will have to go through the menu of the audio system and set it.
  • You can now play music from your phone in the car.

In some cars, the audio system can also mirror the screen of your phone onto its own screen, so you can keep an eye on everything from there.

USB connection is one of the best ways to play music from your phone to your car because it is reliable and gives you good sound quality. Also, your phone stays charged, and you can answer calls without taking your hands off the wheel.

6.30 Pin iPod Adapter

Some cars come with a 30 pin adapter that lets you connect your phone to the car.

This lets you connect your iPad or iPhone straight to your stereo.

It’s important to remember that an iPod adapter will always give you better sound than an FM transmitter.

7.If I use these methods, will the sound quality get worse?

Some people might worry that not using Bluetooth or aux could hurt the sound quality overall.

Overall, using a USB input, a hands-free Bluetooth phone app, a 30 pin connector, Android Auto, or Apple Car Play will give you the best sound with the least amount of interference.

Using an FM transmitter, on the other hand, is likely to cause interference. This is because the quality of the sound depends mostly on how well you can connect to the radio stations near you.

Also, the sound quality could be affected by the quality of the FM transmitter you are using. Less well-made transmitters can cause more interference.

Conclusion

Even though some ways, like an FM transmitter, don’t produce the best sound, most people are still happy to listen to music while driving.

This article shows us different ways to play music from our phones on our stereos.

Today, we are lucky to have a lot of choices, depending on how our cars are set up and how much money we have.

So, how fast were the fastest boards we looked at? I decided to look at the percentiles because I wanted to know more about the data:

  1. The fastest 5% of boards (the 95th percentile) were going 36.85 mph or faster.
  2. The fastest 10% of boards (the 90th percentile) went at least 33.7 mph.

Keep in mind that most of the data was based on mass-produced electric skateboards and not on custom or DIY models.

The Top 50 Electric Skateboards That Go Fastest! (Changes made for 2022)

We’re always looking for the cheetah of the group, whether it’s a car, an animal, a person, or a website loading. We are naturally curious and interested in speed, and we beg to know the answer… Who runs the quickest?

Everything is the same when it comes to electric skateboards.

How fast can a battery-powered skateboard go?

Well, the world record for the fastest speed on an electric skateboard was broken a few years ago. A Slovenian company called NGV (Next Generation Vehicles) set the record with a custom-made board that reached a top speed of almost 60 mph.

When one of the wheels came off, the rider, the legendary daredevil Mischo Erban, fell off and crashed his board.

You can watch the video at the link below.

We were so amazed by how fast they went that we decided to write an article about the top 50 fastest electric skateboards you can buy. Cheers, and good luck!

1. NGV Nextboard – 68 MPH

Cost: Around $2,945 (converted from Euros)

With a speed of 60 mph, the NGV Nextboard broke the world record for the fastest electric skateboard. You might not believe it, but it can go faster!

On the NGV website, it says that its top speed is 68 mph! This board goes so fast that you could ride it on the highway. Just try not to fall. Even though I don’t think you’ll ever be able to reach this speed (or want to), this board does some amazing things.

This board is cool to have and is one of a kind. It goes so fast that it can almost fly.

It’s hard to believe, but its top speed is the same as a cheetah’s acceleration, so if a cheetah stole your Taco Bell, there’s no reason to think you couldn’t catch it!

2. Bioboards Plutonium 4WD AT – Up To 58 MPH

Price range: $3,900–$5,450 (depending which upgrades you get)

The Swedes always come up with the craziest stuff.

This board is called “plutonium,” which is the name of a nuclear element. With a top speed of 50 mph, you might think it was nuclear-powered.

Note, though, that if you add Bioboards’ “high speed kit,” it can reach 58 mph. Bioboards warns users not to use the high speed kit, which is funny because “With this kit, the board can go at ridiculously fast speeds. We don’t think anyone should try it. It’s a very bad idea!”

Have you ever met a company that didn’t want to advertise their products because they are too dangerous!? Bioboards might be the first, though.

3. Carvon Evo 4WD – 50 MPH

Price: $3,499

If you’re running late for work, you’ll need a top speed of 50 mph. The board was made to order, so it has more torque, better brakes, and a better grip. If you want to buy, you should know that Carvon makes the boards after you pay for them. The board will be made in 3–5 weeks and then shipped. I’m also impressed by the impressive 25-mile range and 325-pound maximum load of the board.

It’s quite expensive, but custom DIYers like the engineers at Carvon will make sure you’re not disappointed.

4. Lacroix Nazare Superspot – Speed Unknown (Estimated 50 MPH)

Price: $3,600 and up

Parlez-vous francais?

Who knew that Canadians liked to go so fast? A group of guys from Montreal planned and built the Lacroix Nazare (yes they speak French there).

How fast is it, then? Well, the top speed is “more than you need,” according to Lacroix’s website. But it looks like a few people tried it out and found that the fastest it can go is 50 mph, though some people slowed it down to 39 mph (a lot will depend on what upgrades you select with the board).

With a range of up to 40 miles, this board is probably the Canadian Mountie of electric skateboards.

5. Bajaboard Pantera – 44 MPH

Cost: Not known…

The Pantera by Bajaboard was made for you if you wanted an electric skateboard that looked and worked like the devil himself.

Funny thing is, the brand says that the Pantera is not for beginners (probably because they would get hurt badly!). And if you want to buy the board, you’ll need to find out how much it costs. The board can’t be bought directly from their website.

We think the board sells for more than $4,000, since it has better specs than the G4X, which sells for $3,500.

The Pantera is a complete mystery, but we do know that it goes 44 miles per hour and can be ridden for more than 31 miles. Each wheel has its own motor, which gives it a lot of torque, power, and speed.

6. Carvon Evo 2WD Falcon – 40 MPH

Price: $2,249

A version of the Carvon 4WD that costs less. But don’t think that the lower price means the service is slower. This electric skateboard can still go over 40 mph at its fastest.

This board has a V4-speed drive and no belts, which makes it quiet and great for coasting. Both the Evo 4WD and the 2WD are meant to be driven on speed tracks, not on the street, so keep that in mind if you’re interested in buying one.

7. Kal NYC XLR – Speed Unknown (Estimated 38 MPH)

Price: $6,350

For a board named after the city that never sleeps, it better be pretty freaking good. And, like New York City, it costs a lot. So damn expensive that I think you’d be better off buying something else with your money.

At over $6,000, you get a range of about 60 miles, which could go up to 90 miles depending on the weather. The speed isn’t listed on their website either, but it’s thought to be around 38 mph.

Overall, this board has everything, but it’s expensive (I did say that, didn’t I?).

8. Bajaboard G4X – 37 MPH

Price: $3,699

The G4X is a wild animal. Even though it doesn’t look great, it can fly. This thing doesn’t stop. It was made for rough off-roading and has shock absorbers and can climb hills with a 45 percent grade. The range is a solid 15 miles, the speed is fast, and it only takes 1.5 hours to charge. What could you want more of?

9. Meepo Hurricane – 37 MPH

Price: $1,799

Meepo just added this to their line of insanely fast electric skateboards, and it’s no joke. All-terrain electric skateboards are becoming more popular around the world because they have better suspension and can be used almost anywhere.

Grass, dirt, gravel, whatever: the Hurricane is an unstoppable force that won’t let anything stand in its way. This board is a beast because it has huge 155mm wheels and two 3500 watt motors.

Features include a godlike range of more than 30 miles, a top speed of 37 mph, and a hill climbing rate of 40 degrees that has never been seen before. (The site says it’s 46 degrees, but that needs to be confirmed!)

10. Bajaboard G4 – 34 MPH

Price: $2,949

The G4X’s younger sibling. Still a monster, but it costs $700 less. Both boards have big 10″ tires that make it easy to ride off-road. The G4 has a longer range than its big brother, even though it is a bit lighter.

11. Evolve Hadean Series – 31 MPH

Price: $2,599 and up

When it comes to electric skateboards, Evolve is often thought to make the best ones. They have made some pretty amazing boards that are way better than anything else on the market. The only problem is that you’ll have to pay for it.

The Hadean Series is no different, though. The two versions of the board for the street will cost at least $2,599.

But at 31 mph and with a range of 40 miles! Where else could you see a show like that!

The only bad thing about these beasts is that they are heavy… To be exact, 27 lbs. That is pretty heavy, especially if you have to carry it with one hand.

12. Exway Atlas 4WD – 31 MPH

Price: $2,200 and up

For those who don’t already know, the Exway Atlas 4WD is a beast.

The board comes with all-terrain wheels, but you can pay an extra $100 to get the 2-in-1 package with both AT wheels and street wheels.

The board is a beast on almost every surface you can think of. I’ve seen this thing roll easily over dirt fields and even sand.

13. Energy Raptor 2.1 – 30 MPH

Price: $1,499

A popular electric skateboard that lives up to its reputation. The Raptor was one of the fastest electric skateboards when it was first funded through Kickstarter.

The Raptor 2.1 has a battery that is four times bigger than the competition. This gives it an amazing 25-mile range. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it’s a huge 25 pounds, which is a lot.

14. Fiik Spine – 30 MPH

Price: $1,750

Right up there with the Raptor as the world’s fastest mass-produced electric skateboard. On a very light carbon flex deck, two high-torque motors deliver amazing performance.

The brakes are safer with anti-lock and regenerative systems. Their easy-to-use pistol-grip style proximity controller controls everything.

15. Meepo V4 (Shuffle) – 29 MPH

Price: $449

Many of you know Meepo from the V2 and V3 models, which riders all over the world reviewed and liked. But as of August 2021, the V4 is a newer version.

Many of the reviews for Meepo can be found on YouTube.

The V4 shuffle has a 38″ longboard deck, can go up to 29 mph, and has a range of 11 miles. It costs $449, which is a good deal. I really think you should check out Meepo and the other Chinese brands you’ll see further down the list because they are cheap and have great specs.

Chinese boards like the Meepo V4 can be made for a lot less money than American brands, which have to be shipped and use more expensive materials and pay more for labor. This is why you can get a board like this for so cheap.

16. 30″ Meepo V2 – 29 MPH

Price: $419

This version of the Meepo V2 has a 30″ stiff deck, but it still works just as well as the 38″ longboard. It’s nice to have a smaller version that is easier to carry around. This board also has a handle, which makes it very easy to move around since it only weighs 16 pounds.

17. Meepo AWD GT – 28 MPH

Price: $799

A monster 40″ board made of seven layers of maple and bamboo from Canada. The GT has new shredder trunks that make the effects of speed wobble almost nonexistent. This is the perfect board for carving and tearing up the streets in your area. This electric longboard is number 10 on our list because it can go as fast as 28 mph.

18. Maxfind FF Belt – 28 MPH

Price: $999

Without a doubt, this is MaxFind’s best board. At $999, you get a speed of 28 mph and a range of 25 miles. Or, for an extra $400, you can instantly double your range with a battery that is easy to swap.

What’s not to like about the double kingpin trucks? They make it easy to turn and go through the streets without any bumps.

If you want an AT version, MaxFind also sells those.

MaxFind usually ships their boards from China via ocean freight, which can take a long time (25 days for USA based customers to be exact).

19. XTND Board Dual – 28 MPH

Price: $1,449

I’m very excited to try out this XTND Board, which is another electric skateboard that got its start on Kickstarter. At the moment, you can only order it ahead of time.

Not only is this board’s top speed of 28 mph crazy, but so is how light it is. The fact that this board only weighs 10.8 pounds makes it very easy to carry around when the battery dies. When it ships out, I hope to write a review on this board.

20. Flex-E 2.0 – 27 MPH

Price: $1,287 (999 British Pounds – sold in UK)

This board was made by the awesome company “Slick Revolution” to go fast and far. With a top speed of 27 mph and a range of 19 miles, you can go anywhere. The nose and tail of the board are also protected from hits by tough polyurethane.

I love this board because you can choose between three speeds and three ways to stop. You can change how hard or fast it goes by using their very unique and advanced remote. For sure, the electric skateboard is underrated.

21. Evolve Carbon GTR – 26 MPH

Price: $1,959

One of the most popular electric skateboard brands comes in at number 12. Since a few years ago, Evolve has been making very high-quality boards. The Carbon GT is exactly the same. This speed demon can go up to 26 mph, which makes it a monster to ride on the street or off-road, depending on which wheel setup you buy at the checkout.

The Carbon GTR Series is a unique board that is slower than the Hadean series and has less overall range. However, it is still a very powerful board.

Even though prices start at $1,899 for both the GTR street and the GTR all terrain, your wallet will still be upset. You can also buy the board with both sets of wheels (2 in 1) for $2,149.

If I were you, I would think about how versatile the all terrain is (you can still use AT wheels for the street and they work just as great with better suspension).

22. Evolve Bamboo GTX – 26 MPH

Price: $1,779

The Bamboo GTX is the same as the Carbon GT, but it has a lighter 7-layer maple bamboo deck instead of carbon fiber. Even though it costs less than the Carbon GT, it has the same performance features. If you want to save a few hundred dollars, it’s a good alternative. (These boards cost a lot of money.)

23. Evolve Bamboo GT – 26 MPH

Price: $1,449

The Bamboo GT is just a cheaper version of the Bamboo GTX. The only difference is in the range. The Bamboo GTX and Carbon GT may have a range of 31 miles, but the Bamboo GT only has a range of 21 miles. Even so, it’s still a lot. This board really impresses me because the deck is bendy and has a cool lightning bolt design carved into the wood.

24. Halo Board 2nd Edition – 26 MPH

Price: $897

A monster dual-motor design with 3,000 Watts and a top speed of 26 mph. I love the concave shape of this board’s deck. It’s made of carbon fiber, so it’s very strong and helps make the ride smoother. Halo also added a “Torque Management acceleration algorithm” to improve riding and make takeoffs easier.

25. Ownboard Mini KT – 25 MPH

Price: $417

One of my favorite electric skateboards, and one of the first ones I bought. I only have good things to say about this board and what it can do.

It only costs $417 and is better than any Boosted board I’ve ever ridden. I just did say that! Great acceleration, stopping, and all-around quality that will last for years. I’ve only had trouble controlling the boards and making tight turns. Since the board isn’t shaped like a longboard and has a stiff deck, it might be hard to make tight turns, especially when going fast.

Overall, this board is great, and you should strongly consider buying it if you want to use it to get to work or school, if it’s your first electric skateboard, or if you don’t want to spend a lot of money.

If you want to know more, I wrote a full review of the Ownboard Mini KT, which you can read here.

26. Skatebolt Tornado II – 26 MPH

Price: $479

I first heard about the Tornado after hearing a lot of good things about it on a forum. I looked into the brand more and found that they have a pretty good line of models you can buy. Skaters who use e-skates have said that the Tornado is a good piece. Many people won’t buy a car with a top speed of 26 mph and a range of 24 miles for $599.

One of the best things about the Tornado is that it comes with safety lights for riding at night. I can’t think of many boards that have this feature, which is an added benefit and safety that many people find very useful.

Without some kind of reflective clothing and lights, riding at night is very dangerous. It comes highly suggested. But if your board doesn’t come with safety lights, you’ll need to buy lights from a company like Shredlights. Here you can read a review about riding at night and lights.

27. Buffalo F – 25 MPH

Price: $699

I had never heard of this board before I wrote this article and looked into how it works and what it can do. A 39-inch deck with a very cool-looking and unique bottom that holds a “flexible battery.” I thought it was cool that this board has a USB port where you can plug in your phone charger and charge your phone while you’re on the go.

28. Ownboard W1S – 25 MPH

Price: $417

This 38″ electric longboard, made by Ownboard, is another great board. If you ever need to carry it, there is a handle on the side. The base price is $417, which is the same as the Ownboard Mini KT and other Ownboards. If you want to get more out of your electric skateboard, you can upgrade to a better battery and longer range.

29. Ownboard C1S – 25 MPH

Price: $417

Ownboard has made yet another 38″ longboard. The specs and features are the same as on the W1S.

30. Ownboard W1AS KT – 25 MPH

Price: $417

This is another Ownboard, but it looks like an electric skateboard instead of a longboard. A lot like the Mini KT, but it’s 6 inches longer.

31. Exway X1 – 25 MPH

Price: $888

The Exway X1 is not the most popular board out there, but it still packs a punch. The design is unique and strong, and it only weighs 14 pounds. This board can stand up to the big names in the business.

32. Koowheel Gen 2 D3M – 25 MPH

Price: $649

The remote is my favorite part of this board. Koowheel did a great job on both the remote and the board. They are round and can be held almost like a pair of brass knuckles.

33. Boosted Stealth – 24 MPH

Price: $1,599

Surprised that the fastest board from Boosted is so far down the list? I am too. On the other hand, Boosted isn’t just about speed. It’s more about the quality and experience of the rider. The Stealth is a monster and Boosted’s most expensive board by a long shot. It is known as the “pinnacle of performance” for their boards.

The best thing about the board is that it has a “hyper speed mode” that you can turn on if you really want to be a daredevil.

A beautiful 38 “This is one of the sexiest boards you can buy because it has a shiny black finish and a nice deck. In terms of overall performance, there are probably 20 other boards that are faster, have more range, etc., but you won’t be disappointed with how this board makes you feel while riding it.

34. Predator Banshee – 24 MPH

Price: $999

This board looks funny and has a boxy shape that is different from other boards. It only weighs 12.5 pounds and has a 1600-Watt motor, but it can still go 24 mph and travel 14 miles. The one-year warranty that comes with Banshee is a big plus. Most other boards last between three and six months. The Banshee gets a thumbs up.

35. MaxFind Max 2 (Dual Motor Dark) – 23 MPH

Price: $699

This was one of the first boards I ever looked at. It really pushed me into the business and let me do what I loved, which was electric skateboarding. Even though it only costs $699, this board still plays in the big leagues. A 35 percent grade hill climb that works well and only weighs 14 pounds. This e-board can go up to 23 mph and has a range of 16 miles. It can be charged in as little as 2 hours. It’s one of the few boards we have on our website.

36. WowoGo 2S – 23 MPH

Price: $419

The premium electric longboard with a handle from WowGo. Definitely the most popular board on WowGo. It comes with two spare tires and has a lot of good reviews to back up how well it works.

37. WowGo Mini – 23 MPH

Price: $419

This board is like the Ownboard Mini KT in a lot of ways. Even though they look a little different, the logos on these boards are almost the same. They could even be made at the same factory!

38. WowGo KT – 23 MPH

Price: $419

A 35-inch electric skateboard with the size and feel of a longboard but the strength of a stiff deck skateboard. Both worlds are great.

39. Backfire Galaxy G2S – 23 MPH

Price: $449

The electric skateboard with the skin that might be the coolest of all of them. The design of the galaxy is really out of this world!

The Galaxy G2S is very easy to ride, and it comes with two different battery sizes so you can choose how far and how far you want to go. It also comes with an extra set of 96mm wheels, which are bigger than the 80mm wheels that come with it in case you want to ride on rougher terrain.

40. Galaxy G2T – 23 MPH

Price: $599

This board has great handles because the deck is curved and very flexible. The low center of gravity gives the bike more stability when riding at high speeds.

The new remote gives you digital information about your board and lets you switch between riding modes. It also has an auto-cruise setting. At $599, this board is a steal.

41. Blink Qu4tro – 23 MPH

Price: $1,699

This list only has one Acton Blink board. No matter who you ask, everyone says these boards are great, though some say they are a bit pricey. This is a very good all-around board because it has a hub motor that drives all four wheels, LED lights for safety, a range of 22 miles, a 30 percent grade, and a speed of 23 mph.

42. Leiftech V2 – 23 MPH

Price: $1,547

I like the Leiftech V2 not just because it’s fast, but also because it’s different. Imagine putting together a regular skateboard and an electric skateboard. This is what you get from the V2… It lets you drift and slide down the street like you would down a snowy mountain on a snowboard, except you’re on the street.

Most e-board companies cover defects for 3 to 6 months, but Leiftech goes above and beyond by giving a 24 month warranty on the motor, a 12 month warranty on the battery and deck, and a 6 month warranty on everything else. If you ask me, that’s something you should buy. Not only that, but this board comes with batteries that are easy to switch out and can be done in 30 seconds or less.

43. Inboard M1 – 22 MPH

Price: $999

Ah, at last, the much-loved and well-known Inboard M1. A great board that doesn’t wobble and has batteries that can be switched out for longer rides and more distance. It’s also okay with the TSA and safe to take on an airplane. You can also use the Touch Throttle on the Inboard Technologies app to control this board with your phone. The M1 has lights that are built in. This e-board has everything. We strongly suggest.

44. Boosted Plus – 22 MPH

Price: $1,399

The Boosted Notorious Plus. The electric skateboard that people buy the most of. With a top speed of 22 mph, a range of 14 miles, and a price tag of $1,399. Why does it stand out? One, it’s been Boosted. You can’t really compare this e-board to other ones on the market because it’s better made and has better handles. I’m not saying there aren’t better options, but the Boosted Plus can’t go wrong.

45. Backfire Ranger X1 – 22 MPH

Price: $899

All-terrain wheels that are 6.5 inches in diameter and make it very easy to move through Double Kingpin Trunks. Not only that, but this board is also dust and water proof. The comfort of the rider is improved by a curved deck, and the bike can go for 21 miles.

46. WowGo All-Terrain – 22 MPH

Price: $899

Why is WowGo’s most expensive board the most expensive? A maximum range of 22.5 miles, a top speed of 22 mph, 6.5 “Big rubber off-road wheels, water resistance, and a new smart remote with an OLED screen. When you take this board off the street and into the dirt, it’s very stable. It has great suspension and is better than most other boards on the market.

47. Mototec 1600W – 22 MPH

Price: $599

A board that can go anywhere, with huge 10″ tires. This board was made to be used right off the road in the dirt. The 12 ply maple deck on this rough-looking board is a nice touch. The Mototec 1600W is a good choice if you want an electric skateboard that looks like a monster truck and has a touch of country.

48. One Wheel XR+ – 19 MPH

Price: $1,799

The list shouldn’t even include the One Wheel XR+. But I had to include it because it’s so unusual. It’s pretty amazing that something with only one wheel can go almost 20 mph. It also has an amazing range of 12 to 18 miles. You can get its little brother with almost the same specs for $500 less.

49. Boosted Mini S – 18 MPH

Price: Can’t tell you right now

When this came out, it was a huge hit in the world of electric skateboarding. The Boosted Mini S made it popular for college students to ride on their campuses. Riders didn’t have to worry about carrying a big, heavy board to class because it only weighed 15 pounds. At 19.5 inches long, you could even slide it into a backpack if you needed to (just leave the zipper open).

At 18 miles per hour, it’s not even close to being the fastest electric skateboard on this list, but Boosted has a good name, so I’m sure a lot of people would enjoy this board.

50. Blitzart Series – 16 mph

Starting price is $300

Sadly, we’ve reached #50. The slowest boards on our list, and unless you’re under 16 years old, I wouldn’t recommend them. They have a few boards like the Tornado, Hurricane, and X-Plore that can go up to 16 mph, which isn’t that fast. To be honest, all three models are pretty much the same thing, they just have different names.

Why do people like speed so much?

When someone rides an electric skateboard for the first time, the most common question they ask is, “How fast does it go?”

People all over the world, not just e-board riders, ask the same question over and over again.

People are completely fascinated by speed.

Speed fans go crazy when a production car breaks the 0-60 record, which is currently held by the Koenigsegg Gemera at 1.9 seconds. Other companies are lining up to make one so that their brand can keep the title.

Before the 1950s, people thought it was impossible to run a mile in less than four minutes. It wasn’t done until May 6, 1954, when a British runner named Roger Bannister did it. Now, more than a thousand runners have broken the 4-minute mark.

There is no end to the process of getting faster and breaking records.

The rush you get from going fast comes from a rush of adrenaline, which raises your blood pressure and heart rate and slows down your mind so you can really take in what’s going on (essentially, living to the fullest)

Slowing down is also linked to getting old and having less energy, neither of which are very appealing to humans (and the opposite sex).

We like people with a lot of energy, a good attitude, and confidence. Men who drive fast cars have higher levels of testosterone than men who drive slow, boring cars, according to studies.

Electric skateboards are the same as anything else.

Fast is hot!

Which of the e-boards with the fastest speeds has the best range?

Other than speed, range is the most-wanted feature of an electric skateboard. We made you a new list because you guys are always looking for both.

We found that the average top speed on our list was 25 mph, so we only looked at e-boards that could go faster than that. From there, we looked at every board on the market and ranked the top 5 with the best ranges.

  1. Evolve Hadean Street Models – Top Speed: 31 mph – Range: 40 miles
  2. The Bajaboard S2 900 can go as fast as 37 mph and can travel 31 miles.
  3. Bajaboard Pantera – Fastest speed is 44 mph; 31-mile range
  4. The top speed of a Bioboards Plutonium 4WD AT is 50 mph, and its range is 31 miles.
  5. The Meepo Hurricane has a top speed of 37 mph and a range of 30 miles.

The new Hadean models made by Evolve stand out the most. They may be one of the few electric skateboards with a range longer than their top speed (rare to see).

Overall, it has specs that are unmatched, and 31 mph is already a crazy fast speed. But boards with a range of 40 miles are rare, especially ones that are made for sale.

What’s the right mix of speed, battery life, and distance?

Isn’t it true that the faster you go, the less range and battery life you have?

Imagine driving a sporty car (or any car for that matter). If I drive a Nissan GTR at 160 mph for 3 minutes straight, a big chunk of the gas tank will be used up, which will have a big effect on your range.

Notice how a lot of cars have more than one way to drive?

  • Sport
  • All-Terrain
  • Hybrid
  • Eco

When you drive in “sport mode,” you will use more gas and be able to go faster. Eco mode will control how much gas you use and how well the engine and transmission work so that you use less gas.

Just look at the Toyota RAV4:

  • On average, Eco mode will get you 39.5 mpg.
  • On average, you’ll get 35 mpg in sport mode.

That’s a difference of 12.5% in gas mileage!

Now, I just told you a lot about cars, but the same thing will be true when you ride your electric skateboard.

With 12.5 percent range on a standard board, you can increase the average range of 15 miles to about 17 miles. Even though it may not seem like much, 2 miles makes a big difference.

Most electric skateboards will have between 3 and 4 speeds.

Most riders stick to the fastest/high speed mode because they like the thrill of speed and high performance.

Just remember that going faster will use up more battery power and cut down on your range.

So, if the range is more important to you, you should be careful and ride at lower speeds when you can.

If this doesn’t bother you, you little daredevil, keep going!

How to Handle Speed Wobbles

All of you who ride know exactly what I mean…

The worst ride ever!

Speed wobbles are one of the scariest things that a skateboarder, electric or not, will ever have to deal with.

And since you’re more likely to run into them the faster you ride, it’s important that we talk about the risks and safety tips to stop them for good!

For those who don’t know, speed wobbles happen when a skateboard goes so fast that it shakes from side to side in a ‘S’ shape. It’s very scary and nerve-wracking, and first-time riders might not know what’s going on.

Speed wobbles can be caused by many different things, but loose trunks and wheels are often the problem.

Now, it’s important to talk about the speed wobble problem because, as most of you already know, this article is all about… speed!

You don’t want to speed up to 25 mph or more and then find that your board is violently shaking back and forth. No one wants to buy a high-performance board that will send them to the hospital because of a silly speed wobble.

Many people think of electric skateboards as toys, but you have to respect their power and the risks that come with them.

So, how can we fix speed wobbles?

Tip 1: Tighten trunks and wheels that are loose.

Loose trunks are great because they let you turn and carve in a better circle. But when you’re going fast, they mess you up by making it feel like your board is falling apart.

Make sure you have the right balance of speed, turning, and tightening and loosening your trunks.

It’s not hard to bring a spare T-tool with you when you ride so you can switch between the two ways of riding.

Tip 2: When you hit the wobble, slow down.

During a speed wobble, it’s never a good idea to speed up. You should instead take your hand off the throttle, lightly tap the brakes, and let the board come under your control.

Tip 3: Find the right balance

If your board wobbles at high speeds all the time, you should try to figure out at what speed it’s happening. If it happens when you’re going 24 mph, stay 2-3 mph under that speed. So, you can make sure it won’t keep happening.

Tip 4: Adjust your position

Wobbles often happen to beginners who don’t have a good stance. The board will move in a certain way based on how you move your weight on it. Make sure that most of your weight is on the front of the board, which is called the nose, and that your foot is 45 degrees from the nose. By doing this, you’ll be able to get a better grip on things, since controlling the front lets you turn or change directions.

What’s the best top speed for comfort? What do professionals say?

Huh? This question might be hard to understand, but it’s important to think about…

Before you spend thousands of dollars on the fastest e-board on the planet, you should think about safety.

Know that when you’re going fast, it’s easy to lose your balance on your board.

  • One, you’re standing straight up on two feet, which raises your center of gravity higher off the ground.
  • Two, you don’t have any handlebars, so you can’t hold on to anything to keep yourself steady.
  • Third, you aren’t held in place like you are in a car with a seat belt or any other safety feature.

My point is that it only takes one small bump at 25 mph for your body (and maybe your face) to hit the ground.

Now that you have a better idea of how things work (especially you newbies), what’s the fastest speed you should go?

From my own experience, the fastest I can go on my electric skateboard is about 25 mph on a clear, well-paved road with no other cars. Any faster and I’ll just feel unstable and risky.

But don’t just take my word for it. I asked ESKATEHUB directly and got a response. Here’s the quote in full:

“It depends on the board. Some boards feel more stable than others, but 45 km/h (28 mph) is usually my top speed, and I don’t stay there for long.

Most of the time, my speed is between 30 and 35 km/h (18 and 22 mph).

How to avoid getting hurt at high speeds. How can you help?

Don’t be like him. Guys, use your brains and keep yourself safe.

Most streets in your town or city have a speed limit of 25 mph. And these rules are for cars and trucks. Some boards can go much faster than 30 mph, so it’s important to buckle up and follow a few safety tips.

The faster something is going, the more likely it is that someone will get hurt.

If you fall off the board at 25 mph, it can:

  • Road rash

And since the average visit to the emergency room could cost up to $3,000 in 2021, it’s best to stay away from the hospital as much as possible.

Here is a list of electric skateboard accessories that you should seriously think about buying to avoid trips to the ER, common injuries that come with riding, and to make you safer overall.

You’ll get to your destination faster if you go fast.

Not only is it fun to ride your electric skateboard fast down a smooth, open road, but it also saves you time.

Yes, time is the most valuable thing in the world.

You can’t buy it, borrow it, or sell it. We can get more of it, but we can’t go back to what we had before.

But we can do some simple things to save it and keep it from going to waste!

You can do this in all parts of your life, even when you’re electric skateboarding.

Let’s ask, “How long will it take me to go 10 miles?”

  • If you average 10 mph on your electric skateboard, it will take you 1 hour to get where you want to go.
  • At an average speed of 15 mph on your electric skateboard, it will take you 40 minutes to get where you want to go.
  • If you average 20 mph on your electric skateboard, it will take you 30 minutes to get where you’re going.
  • If you ride your electric skateboard at an average speed of 25 mph, it will take you 24 minutes to get there.
  • If you average 30 mph on your electric skateboard, it will take you 20 minutes to get where you’re going.

So, the next time you go for a ride, think about keeping a steady top speed if you want to get where you’re going in a certain amount of time. Just be careful and drive safely!

How fast are electric skateboards compared to e-scooters and e-bikes?

There are more fast electric devices than just electric skateboards.

Many people use battery-powered bikes and scooters as a hobby and to get to and from work every day.

So how do they compare to each other?

  1. Most electric skateboards can go as fast as 25 mph.
  2. Most electric scooters can go as fast as 19 mph.
  3. The top speed of the average electric bike is 25 mph.

Click on this link to learn more about how these two devices compete with each other.

So it looks like e-bikes and e-boards are the way to go if you want to go fast. But keep in mind that these speeds are for average brands that shouldn’t cost a lot.

If you want serious speed and range, you’ll have to spend well over $1,000 and up to $2,500 on any of the three devices. If you want extreme speed, range, and quality, you’ll have to spend more than $2,500.

Do e-boards have a speed limit? Can you ride them on the street?

There are no laws or rules at the national level that say electric skateboards have to stay under a certain speed or have to be limited in any way. All of the boards below can be ridden anywhere and everywhere.

As long as you follow the laws and rules where you skateboard, you’ll be fine. The problem is when riders act carelessly and don’t care about other people (pedestrians, bikers, cars, other skateboards, etc.)

Now, let’s say you buy the NGV Nextboard, which can go as fast as almost 70 mph. You take it to the busiest street in your town or city and somehow keep your balance while going 70 mph by a police officer… (This is all hypothetical, and not only would it be nearly impossible to do, but no one in their right mind would do it!)

Do you think that the police officer who saw you would just let you keep going?

No, of course not. In a local area, going 70 mph on any vehicle is a sure way to get into trouble. Either you or someone else is going to be hurt or killed badly.

Speed is dangerous. Most of these boards can go faster than 30 mph, but that doesn’t mean you should. Be careful and don’t be afraid to slow down if you don’t know what’s going on, so that everyone stays safe.

Remember that breaking the law and being careless are not the same thing. But make sure you follow both of them!

What are the cheapest electric skateboards that are “fast”?

We all like going fast…

But what price?

Super cars aren’t cheap, so you only see them in places where people have a lot of money. You will have to pay for the extra speed, specs, and performance.

Parts are never cheap, and the better they are, the worse they are for your wallet.

All of the e-boards on this list are the same way. Don’t be surprised if you see boards here that cost more than $4,000. That’s enough to pay for a full year of community college or put a down payment on a brand-new car.

Don’t worry, I made another list to help you find the most affordable boards on the list. So, you get a good mix of speed and money saved. Thank me later!

  • Meepo Shuffle V4 – $449 – 29 mph
  • Meepo Mini 2 – $409 – 29 mph
  • Ownboard W1S – $389 – 25 mph
  • Ownboard W2 – $579 – 28 mph

For beginners, it’s important to choose a board with good specs that doesn’t cost too much (considering it is your first electric skateboard). Meepo and Ownboard are two brands that make fast boards that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

If you want something cheap and fast, you might want to think about the four boards above.

How much faster can a skateboard with an electric motor go?

There must be some sort of limit, right?

What can we expect from companies, brands, and models in the future?

There’s no way that an electric skateboard can go 100 mph (at least for now).

I already said that the problem with electric skateboards is that they don’t have handlebars.

Skateboards are hard to stay balanced on, so going 30 mph or faster on one is already hard and dangerous. There’s not much chance that brands will keep pushing the speed limits on the boards.

We can expect a lot of brands to sell “drive kits,” which are motors and batteries that can be added to regular skateboards to make them electric. You can make an electric skateboard by connecting the motor to the trucks and wheels and securing the battery.

You can expect that these drive kits will become more and more popular, and that their speed and range will also improve.

Blown Speaker Repair Cost

There are many reasons why a speaker might blow. If it’s installed right, there should be no reason for something like this to happen.

But small problems in the electrical system can cause big problems. With a little education, you can avoid having to pay to fix blown speakers and also learn how to get the most out of your set.

So, what are the reasons behind this problem and what is the repair cost?

Speakers may blow for many different reasons. Most of the time, there are two causes: thermal failure or mechanical failure. But each of them can be stopped.

If you don’t do this, the cost to fix a blown speaker could be very different depending on the model. They can be inexpensive or very expensive.

How To Tell If You Have A Blown Speaker

When you talk to an expert, a “blown speaker” is usually one that has been severely damaged. Sometimes the speaker still works, but it sounds so bad that you don’t want to turn it on. Most of the time, it won’t work at all.

Most of the time, if you break your car speaker, you won’t be able to hear anything. There is also a chance that you will only hear a buzzing sound.

There are more things that can go wrong with a speaker. It might not even be blown, which is why you need to check it properly before you decide to replace it.

Factors That Can Blow Speakers

As a general rule, there are two things that can cause speakers to blow. They can be blown either with heat or with a machine. If there is one way to avoid both problems, it is to not play music at too loud of a volume.

Why do mechanical things break?

The cone, which is an inside part, moves in the wrong direction. It moves forward anyway, but sometimes it moves much farther than it should, hurting the things around it. There will be permanent failure because parts will come loose or break.

Failures caused by heat are more complicated. They happen when a speaker gets too much power for it to handle. Inside the speakers, heat builds up. Everything will fall apart because the glue that holds the parts together will get soft.

At the same time, too much power will also damage the wiring inside the voice coil. When the voice coil is smoked in this way, there will be no sound at all, not even a buzzing or hissing.

In both cases, it’s clear that the equipment was used outside of its standards by accident.

If any of these things happen, the cost to fix a blown speaker will teach you something about how to take care of it.

Other Causes Than the Volume

More technical problems could blow your speakers. The same thing will happen with a system that wasn’t made by professionals, so don’t wing it or use random services to get things done.

The same is true for both physical damage and amps that are clipping.

Clipping happens more often when there are amplifiers in a system. The amp is being used past its limits, and the tops and bottoms of the waveform are being cut off. Because of this, speakers won’t be able to handle as much power as they say they can.

When it comes to physical damage, everything has to do with a bad installation. If the grill comes loose, put it back on as soon as possible. Cones are fragile, so this is to keep them safe.

Also, the cause may have nothing to do with anything but age. If your speakers are 14 years old, normal wear and tear could cause them to break. It’s just the way life works in these parts.

After all, OEM speakers aren’t always made of the best materials, especially when compared to high-end aftermarket models.

The cost to fix a blown speaker is pretty much the same no matter what caused it.

Since your speakers are gone, they will probably need to be replaced.

What To Do When Speakers Blow

Did your speakers blow?

From a technical point of view, a blown speaker can be fixed. It can be opened and taken apart into small pieces. Faulty parts can then be bought separately and replaced.

Does it make sense? Most of the time, no.

Most of the time, the cost to fix a blown speaker is more than the cost of a new speaker and the labor to install it. There are, of course, a few things that are different.

If you are tech-savvy and like fixing things, you can learn how to fix a broken amp and do it yourself. It can take a lot of time and be frustrating.

For example, if the speaker cone has a small dent, it can be fixed with a little bit of work. Just be careful when you’re working with delicate parts. There’s a good chance that the sound quality will be worse when you’re done, but the speaker will still work and make a good sound.

Plus, you can save a lot of money and feel good about doing it yourself.

If your voice coils are blown, the cost to fix your blown speaker will probably be higher.

It might be hard to find these parts separately, so you might need to buy used speakers and take their parts off instead. Then you’ll have a lot of spare parts. But it can be expensive to pay someone else to do it.

Most people, though, will choose to get a new one.

Choose the right kind of speaker when you need new ones. Find out why this is happening as well.

If you use an aftermarket system, you need to make sure that all of the parts work well together. On the other hand, it’s easier to use a stock system because direct-fit units make it easy to replace broken parts.

As long as you turn down the volume and avoid distortions, you should be fine.

Conclusion

In short, the cost to fix a blown speaker is very different from one case to the next.

If you don’t like fixing things yourself, your only choice is to hire a professional.

Fixing them costs more than buying new ones, so the best thing to do would be to buy a new system and pay someone to put it in. If you like to do things on your own, you have more choices.

How does a solar powered lawn mower work

When the sun rises or sets, a porch or lawn with a garden is a pleasant place to relax and take in the scenery. If you don’t have the correct equipment, upkeep might turn into an executioner without the right lawnmower.
Because a lawnmower can be rather hefty, there is no need to spend your summer months re-signing up for a gym membership when your lawnmower can provide all the exercises you need!
Manual lawnmowers and electronic lawnmowers are two options for lugging a hefty gas-guzzling lawnmower about. However, the solar-powered lawn mower appears to be the new inventive kid on the block. This machine is powered by free energy, but it is also completely self-sufficient. Isn’t it just as easy as you’d expect?
Solar-powered lawn mowers, on the other hand, often use solar energy as their primary power source. It’s possible for them to be very different in structure and energy use. Solar-powered lawn mowers can be found in a variety of different forms, including those that are both partly and totally powered by the sun.
Electronic lawn mowers powered by solar panels are easier to use in the field. The safety and convenience of a solar-powered lawn mower stem from the fact that there is no hazardous gas or oil to deal with while filling it up.
It also eliminates the need to visit the petrol station for refueling, which is a nuisance. When the lawnmower is not in use, simply connect it to the amazing charging station and it will begin charging!
There are no harmful effects on your health or the environment because there are no combustion releases from inside the vehicle.

How does a lawnmower that is powered by solar energy function?

Lawn mowers are typically powered by engines that run on either fuel or oil. On the other hand, this does not occur when using a lawnmower that is powered by solar energy. The electronic motor is a common component found in this piece of equipment.
In addition to that, this electric motor may function from the battery with the minor volts. In addition, the solar panel will charge this battery, and the photovoltaic effect, which converts the solar energy that has been captured into electrical energy, will also be at work.
This is the standard operating procedure for more solar-powered equipment such as solar-driven refrigerators, solar-powered air conditioners, solar-driven flashlights, or solar-powered fans. In addition, a solar-powered lawn mower’s battery can be charged even when it’s not being used if it’s connected to a high-quality power source that has a solar panel. This provides the power necessary for the operator to continue with their planned activities. Your solar-powered lawn mower will have plenty of time to charge up completely before its next use because you intend to cut your grass multiple times a week.

Advantages of Using a Lawnmower That Is Powered by the Sun

A solar-powered lawnmower is an additional option to keep your lawn looking nice and is convenient without incurring any additional costs, with the exception of the initial investment. It won’t be necessary for you to add any more oil or fuel to your lawnmower in order for it to be able to cut the grass on the outside area of your property.

You will save a lot of money this way on repeated fill-ups. Solar energy is both widely available and cost-free; as a result, you are free to make as much use of it as you require without incurring any additional costs. In addition, you will not be subject to any repeated price increases.
A solar-powered lawnmower won’t hurt your health in any way, so consider getting one. There will be no further dangerous leaks or gas smells. Therefore, now even your children may assist you in making your grassland appear lovely, and there is no question that this will be beneficial to their health.

The use of solar-powered lawn mowers comes with a number of additional benefits.

If you want to win over the hearts and minds of your customers, choose a solar-powered lawnmower over one of the other options available. These days, consumers are getting more environmentally conscious with each passing year. It’s impossible not to have a positive outlook on things like biodegradable activities and green gears that run with, as they don’t harm the regular atmosphere in any way.
Lawnmowers that are powered by sunlight, as opposed to mowers that are powered by luxurious fossil fuels or by the mains voltage, result in significant cost savings, which can be enjoyed.
Every user who is concerned of their impact on the environment has access, all year round, to a source of power that is completely free: the sun.

1. Cutter

The cutter is the primary mechanism that is responsible for cutting the grass. The cutting deck of the solar-powered lawnmower is where it will be hooked to the device. The cutter is made up of two parts, which are referred to as the base and the upper cutter respectively. During the cutting process, the bottom cutter, also known as the base, will grasp the grass in a manner analogous to that of a comb and will grip it in a straight position.
Additionally, holding it does one more function that helps facilitate the cutting process. The motor has been attached to the base cutter so that it can assist in countering the sideways movement of the higher cutter. After that, the cutter will remain in place atop the base cutter, and the connection between the three of them is quite smooth.
By modifying the design, the amount of resistance that exists between these upper and lower cutters is kept to a minimum. In addition, the design of the upper and lower cutters is appropriately analogous in form to the holes that are produced by milling. The opening will be in the shape of a quadrilateral and will provide coverage of approximately 5mm.
In addition, the slits are located along the length of the razor blade, and the studs are given to the chassis in order to hold the cutter. On the other hand, the lower base is fastened to the chassis, and the higher base is installed on the lower base using pivot type joints, which only allow the higher blade a single degree of freedom. Together, these two bases make up the higher blade.
In addition, the cutter may also operate as a pair of scissors, which is logical given that our families taught us to cut the grass by first grabbing it and then trimming it in the same manner. The cutter can accomplish both of these functions simultaneously. In addition, the lower cutter is responsible for grabbing the grass, while the higher cutter is responsible for slicing it.
At that moment, it cuts through the grass with an extraordinary degree of precision. When using rotational cutters, the cutter cannot cut the grass evenly since it will bend the grass as it rotates. As a result, the cutting becomes ineffective as a result of this design flaw.
With this particular lawn trimmer, the problem has been fixed, and the base of the trimmer now has a mechanism that grabs the grass and cuts it. The power of the lawn that needs to be cut will guide the decision-making process for the lawn cutter material to use.
There are several different kinds of grass, each of which has its own distinct tensile and adjacent strength. These restrictions are based on the natural circumstances that exist in that particular place; hence, the material must be able to tolerate each variety of grass.
Thermosetting polymers are an option for us when working with polymers. When it comes to the metals, we use aluminum brasses and bronzes to prevent deterioration because copper and iron are susceptible to the problem of deterioration due to the fact that dew droplets can be found on the grass, the lawn itself discharges liquids during the cutting process, and the mower has to operate in daylight environments. This is because the dew droplets can be found on the grass, and the lawn itself discharges liquids during the cutting process.
Aluminum and thermosetting polymers are two potential options for the cutter that would be great for preventing deterioration in environments with high levels of sunlight.

2. Chassis

The majority of the components that make up the chassis are frames and parts that are analogous to the solar panel, rolls, battery, motors, etc. In most cases, the framework is constructed by utilizing thick pipes made of a lightweight material. It will provide shelter for the battery as well as gather the grass that has been trimmed down.
In order to collect energy from the sun, a solar panel is fastened to the top of the framework. The chassis is divided into two compartments: one for the batteries, and the other for the grass that has been collected. The stress deliberation has been well dispersed in order to bring loads of additional constituents and the grass that has been harvested.
In addition, the positioning of the wheels ensures that the load is distributed evenly throughout the platform. The chassis has apparatus that may change the height of the cutter, allowing for beautiful cutting or slicing in the desired manner.

3. Node MCU

This component is an open-source IoT-centered platform that activates the esp8266 wifi SoC beginning with the Espressif unit. Additionally, the hardware relies on the ESP-12 part to function properly. This is the defaults firmware, which provides access to somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 GPIO pins.
Aside from that, the connections can be finished using these pins, and 3.7V is sufficient power for this. In addition, the Vcc pin can serve as a source of feedback for the system. In addition, the program is loaded onto the board using the drafting software known as Arduino IDE, and the connection is made via a micro-USB cable.

4. Motor Regulator Unit

This component is able to monitor a large number of motors simultaneously while also delivering alternating splits. This is accomplished with the assistance of a setup involving surrounding dual H bonds. It gives the motors the vital input command that they need.
In the same vein, it provides power feedback to firmware in a manner comparable to that of Arduino and Node MCU. In addition, it is able to accept feedbacks in the range of 3V-35V and produce a 5V power source for the Node MCU up to the current maximum of 2A.

Solar-powered lawn mower manufactured by Husqvarna

Are you sick of repositioning your lawnmower all the time? Do you prefer to spend your weekends relaxing about rather than working in front of a noisy, stinky equipment while it’s baking in the hot summer sun? In addition, Husqvarna may have the solution you’re looking for; unfortunately, this alternative does not come cheap.
The absence of any radiation The Husqvarna Solar Powered Robotic Lawn Mower is the first fully robotic lawn mower on the market that is also powered in part by the sun’s rays. It is available for purchase worldwide. The Automower Solar Hybrid has a large combination solar panel, in addition to a charging station for mains-driven recharging so that it may be used for refreshing.
When daylight is available, the solar cells enable the mower to extend the amount of time it can spend cutting grass before the battery needs to be replaced. The battery that is used in the lawnmower is a NiMH product that has 2.2 ampere hours and operates at 18 volts.
In addition to this, it is designed to function with the least amount of human touch possible and to manage grass areas that are equivalent to a half acre. Following the formation of a perimeter around the area to be cut by a collection of controller wires that serve as a guide for the Automower Solar Hybrid, cutting is carried out inside the designated area. If it must face an obstacle while operating within the perimeter, it will turn around and readjust its course.
In addition, once fully charged, this gadget may perform its trimming function for a considerable amount of time before it needs to be refreshed. The device weighs around 10 kilograms and produces a sound level of about 61 intensities, which is far lower than a lawnmower that is powered by gasoline.
In addition, you don’t need to worry about retrieving it from the middle of the grass once the batteries begin to run low because this Automower Solar Hybrid can make its way back to the charging position and charge itself whenever it needs to, even when you are outside using it. This eliminates the need to worry about retrieving it from the middle of the grass.
As was discovered, the market does not provide access to this kind of technology at a price that is more reasonable. It comes to almost four thousand Australian Dollars.

Conclusions and musings

As a result of the variable blade design, the solar-powered lawnmower is capable of cutting the grass with a high degree of precision. This particular kind of lawnmower consumes less electricity than others because of design optimizations. When it comes to vast lawns, an effective and lucrative use of a lawnmower is possible.

Monitor Screen Size Comparison (Detailed Guide With Chart) (Detailed Guide With Chart)

Have you ever paid mind to the monitor screen size comparison? Probably not, nevertheless this is the very parameter that plays a major role in the best purchase of the display screen.

It is pretty much clear to choose up a bad gaming monitor if you are ignorant of the actual screen size and its comparison. Besides, getting confused on the aspect ratio and monitor inner operation becomes the following factor that ultimately leads you to the compromised screen display.

The size and measurement in display measurement relies on the manufacturing place substantially. For instance, the 14’’ inches of a display in the US would be 13.3’’ inches in Asia. For instance, the 14’’ inches of a display in the US would be 13.3’’ inches in Asia.

However, below we are covering the much more extensive insights. Today’s article has been especially dedicated to the screen size to let you know how various display charts add to the aesthetics and graphics.

Before buying you need to make sure the original build of the device, every region makes things correspondingly!

Comparison Between 24’’ Inches and 27’’ Monitor Screen

when it comes to what size monitor folks should be using. Some argue that a 24-inch monitor is the right size for most individuals, while others insist that a 27-inch monitor is best for working on major projects. Today we will be taking a look at the benefits and downsides of each sizes to help you determine what’s best for you. Here is a comparison between 24 inches and 27 inch monitors.

1.Dimensional comparison

The size of the monitor overall, and the displayed screen are two different things. Certainly, you do not count that bezel while witnessing the image or video playing in front of your sight. Besides, the inches you count while measuring the screen are always diagonal in length and not vertical or horizontal.

Placing the two monitors (24’’ inches and 27’’ inches) beside one other and playing in front of each other will clarify to you the exact measurement, that is, 7.5cm in total. For example:

Monitor

Diagonal Vertical Horizontal
24 Inches Monitor 60.96 cm 53.1 cm wide 53.1 cm wide
27 Inches Monitor 68.58 cm 59.8 cm wide 59.8 cm wide
Dimensional Difference in cm 7.62 cm 6.7 cm 6.7 cm
Dimensional Difference in % 12.5% 12.6%

12.6%

2.Distance for viewing comparison

When making comparisons, the distance between the monitor and the screen is critical. The optimal viewing distance for each monitor is listed on the monitor itself. In order to see the exact images you want, you need a good point of view.

The suggested easy-to-read distance for a 24-inch display is 50cm to 60cm, whereas the recommended distance for a 27-inch display is 60cm to 70cm. Furthermore, the recommended distance for a 29-inch display is 70cm 80cm, while for a 32-inch display it is 80cm 90cm. After all, the most important thing is to have a pleasant view!

3.Comparison of picture quality

The pixel choppiness is still evident on a 27-inch panel, even though the 24-inch monitor has FHD results.

The higher the screen size difference, the more obvious the difference in image quality will be, like in the case of a 24 and 32-inch monitor. There is less of an impact on the visual quality between the 24″ and 27″ screens as compared to earlier models.

4.Fitting comparison

The installment is yet another noteworthy comparison. A 27-inch monitor’s _wide area_ makes it difficult to set up a 24″ display monitor. Stunts go bigger to make up for the disparity in size, and this has an effect on the overall space.

Differentiating Between Monitor Displays Using a Single Statistic

What is a microwave grill?

The time it takes to cook meats and breads is reduced when using a microwave with a grill mode. The microwave grill mode enables you to sear and cook meat at the same time without losing taste or breaking down the attractive structure of the meat, crust, or breaded outer layer.

A convection oven uses a fan and exhaust system to circulate hot air throughout the oven chamber, minimizing hot and cold spots and allowing meals on all racks to cook more evenly. A third heating element, known as genuine convection, may be added to convection ovens to help meals cook quicker.

How to put your sound bar together

For the greatest effects, set your sound bar right in front of your TV and watch it straight on. If space allows, place both on a flat surface, such as your TV stand. You may mount the sound bar to the wall to conserve room, but you’ll need a separate bracket.

Subwoofer

A cable connection may be required if your sound bar contains an external subwoofer. Others are wireless and can be placed anywhere, although they should be within 10 meters of the sound bar in most cases. Make sure it isn’t too close to a wall, as this will cause boomy bass. As long as it doesn’t generate distracting vibrations, you can put it inside your TV cabinet.

Keep it in the middle.

Your sound bar should, in my opinion, have equal space on the left and right corners so that sound may disperse evenly around the room. This allows for a more balanced and immersive experience by allowing sound to reflect more equally towards your TV viewing location.

Height of the sound bar

When you’re sitting in your typical TV viewing position, aim for it to be within a foot of the height of your ears. Because of this, sound bars that are wall mounted sound better.

The distance between you and the sound bar

The appropriate distance between you and the sound bar varies depending on its power and whether or not it has surround-sound capabilities. Check the manufacturer’s recommendations in the manual.

Finding the sweet spot

A decent sound bar will sound wonderful no matter where you sit. Some, on the other hand, have a pretty narrow’sweet spot.’ Audio quality degrades outside of this, so attempt to set up your space so that all TV watchers get the best audio quality possible. To place you in the midst of the action, Dolby Atmos uses upward-firing speakers that bounce sound off the ceiling. If your sound bar supports it, use the instruction menu to customize it for the shape and size of your room.

Furniture

To reflect the sounds to your ears, you’ll have walls to the left and right of the sound bar. Carpets and curtains, as well as other soft furnishings, will aid to improve sound quality. If you try to hide your sound bar in your TV cabinet, it will sound boxed in and you won’t get the most out of it. Are you looking for a sound bar that will look great in your living room? How to connect a sound bar in the best possible method

Even if you set up your space to perfection, you’ll still miss the most critical step: choosing the correct connection. We look at your primary options to help you figure out which one is ideal for you.

Analogue input is a type of input that is not digital.

These once-common red and white cables are rarely seen as a major input for sound bars these days. Connecting analogue cables is as simple as connecting the colored connectors into the appropriate port. This cable type isn’t compatible with many contemporary sound bars, and we’ve noticed several newer TVs without it as well. It may be time to upgrade if you’re still using analogue connections. To pick a model that’s suitable for you, look through our Best Buy TVs.

Analog input

Almost every sound bar has a digital input, whether it’s digital coaxial or digital optical. Most TVs have one or both of these outputs, so you’ll have no trouble connecting yours to your sound bar. These cables are capable of carrying high-quality stereo signals, but they aren’t ideal for surround sound.

HDMI

HDMI input/output connections are becoming more popular as a way to connect your sound bar to your television. Although most new sound bars come with HDMI connectors, it’s important double-checking before purchasing. HDMI cables may carry more data than optical cables, allowing higher-quality sound codecs like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound to be used.

CEC HDMI

Consumer electronics control (CEC) is supported by the majority of HDMI ports. This enables you to operate additional CEC-enabled devices, such as your TV’s volume and power, with just one remote. Although many manufacturers claim that their TVs will only connect to AV equipment from the same brand, fundamental CEC functionality normally works across brands – just make sure HDMI CEC is turned on.

ARC HDMI

This convenient function allows you to connect HDMI-compatible devices. You can connect your Blu-ray player or console to the sound bar, for example, so that just one cable is needed to connect to your TV and serves as both input and output. Most contemporary TVs have a clearly defined ARC or eARC plug, therefore this feature won’t operate through every HDMI port.

If you don’t have HDMI ARC on your TV or sound bar (you’ll need it on both to use it), the next best alternative is to use one of the other digital connections, such as digital optical or digital coaxial. Check which one your TV has (it may have both) and pick a sound bar that complements it. You can select models with the connections you want by using the filters on our sound bar reviews.

Set the volume of your sound.

Choose to output sound to an external speaker system from the TV menu. If you don’t do this, your sound will continue to come through the TV speakers or you won’t hear anything at all.

Double-check your HDMI cable.

The sound bar may be listed using the manufacturer’s HDMI name if you’re using an HDMI connection. Keep an eye out for: LG Simplink Viera Link by Panasonic EasyLink by Philips Samsung Anynet+ Sync Sony Bravia

Make sure CEC mode is turned on.

This will allow you to control the volume of the sound bar using your TV remote.

Change the volume.

Because every area has its own shape, layout, and furnishings, which all affect the sound, you may need to adjust the delay and volume levels.

Change the subwoofer volume

This is to ensure that it blends in nicely with the sound bar and does not overpower it. In our tests, we frequently discover that the subwoofer level is set too high by default, so we lower it.

Play about with the sound bar’s settings.

Many have a mode to process surround sound (Dolby Digital and DTS audio) found on DVD/Blu-ray soundtracks and films broadcast on television.

Play around with sound effects.

This is when the audio is electronically manipulated to generate a simulated surround-sound effect for films or music, such as ‘cinema’ or ‘3D’ for a film. Look for a ‘Stereo,’ ‘Bypass,’ ‘Off,’ ‘Standard,’ or ‘Natural’ setting. Are you still having issues with your setup? Check out our expert guide to the most frequent sound bar issues.

Using an app to set up a sound bar

Smart features on sound bars allow you to adjust some settings from your smartphone or tablet. This is especially true in premium and mid-range sound bars. The level of functionality varies between brands and models. It’s a nice-to-have extra feature for some. Some settings and features are only available when you use the app, which is a mixed blessing for others. That may be great today, but when the app is no longer supported by the manufacturer, you may lose those functions (which can be as crucial as being able to balance the music to suit your area). If you want to ensure that your soundbar is future-proof, make sure that all of its capabilities are available via a good old-fashioned remote control. Sound bar applications are generally simple to set up and operate, although they may require an additional step in the setup process, such as inputting your email address and adjusting permissions. If you want a sound bar that you can put in and use straight away, a model without smart functions might be a better choice. If your sound bar is beginning to show its age, check to how to get the greatest sound bar to learn more about the features available on the most recent versions.

This feature allows you to control sound bar features such as turning it on/off and altering the volume by saying a command aloud – useful if you lose your remote. These functions are built into some models, so you won’t need to connect them to a hub device. Others will necessitate the use of additional gear, such as an Amazon Echo, Apple HomePod, or Google Nest. The setup method varies by model, but it usually requires utilizing an app to connect to your sound bar. You should be good to go after this initial setup. Check out our buying guide for the best smart speaker if you’re seeking for a compatible hub for voice commands.

Using your sound bar to listen to music

Check whether the sound bar supports 3.5mm or Bluetooth connectivity if you wish to listen to music from a laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth connectivity is available on most new sound bars. This allows you to listen to music on your phone or laptop, for example. This is normally done in the ‘Bluetooth’ section of your device’s settings menu. It’s best if you keep the gadget close to your sound bar. It’s normally good to stay in the same house or flat, although barriers or thick walls can present problems.

Port for headphones

A 3.5mm mini-jack input, sometimes known as a headphone port, is found on many sound bars. We don’t recommend this cable for TV audio because it has the poorest sound quality and is prone to interference. It could be useful for playing music from a smartphone or other portable audio device, but you’re generally better off just using a Bluetooth connection. Many current smartphones lack headphone ports — iPhones haven’t had them since 2016, while Samsung’s flagship devices dropped the connector in 2020.

Multi-room

Many sound bars now include wi-fi connectivity, allowing them to be integrated into a multi-room music system. These usually only function with other speakers from the same brand. If you already own a Sonos multi-room speaker system, purchasing a Sonos sound bar may make more sense. For more information on the finest brands, see our guide to multi-room speakers.
